JerseyConnect Managed WiFi Questionaire

The New Jersey State Library through the JerseyConnect program is seeking managed wireless solutions for public libraries. The solution will be a cloud-based management application that allows the state library to manage the access points on behalf of participating libraries. This solution will be offered to all libraries, including libraries that do not connect to the JerseyConnect network.

Exact cost are not available, however, for budgeting purposes, we anticipate the libraries will have to pay between $500 and $1000 per access point with yearly maintenance or license fees per access point expected to be around 10-15% of the access point’s hardware costs. Final pricing information will be distributed once the Form 470 procurement process has been completed.

E-Rate Central has filed a statewide form 470 and will assist libraries in applying for E-Rate funds to offset these costs. Those interested in the managed Wi-Fi solution should contact the New Jersey State Library or E-Rate Central using the contact information below.
