Community physical activity and leisure survey 2021

Thank you for agreeing to complete this short survey to help us understand your attitude towards activity and exercise and your local leisure centres/facilities. We would like to ask you some questions about your leisure, sport, physical activity, and wellbeing habits. Your answers will help us understand what barriers may prevent you from being physically active and using your local centre in the future and what we can do to help overcome these. Your responses are anonymous.

1.

Which of the following best describes your current attitude towards becoming or being physically active? *

2.

Over the course of a normal week, do you undertake 150 minutes (two and a half hours) of moderate intensity activity, or 75 minutes of vigorous intensity?

Moderate intensity activity will raise your heart rate, and make you breathe faster and feel warmer than normal (e.g. brisk walking, cycling). Vigorous intensity activities will cause adults to get warmer and breathe much harder and their hearts beat rapidly, making it difficult to carry on a conversation (e.g. running, sports such as football, swimming). *

3.

How do you undertake most of your physical activity? *

4.

If you said leisure centre, health club or park, which centre/club/parks do you use?

5.

If you use Finsbury Leisure Centre (FLC) or Ironmonger Row Baths (IRB) then which activities did you undertake? (select all that apply) *

6.

Looking forward, would you like to do more physical activity/exercise? *
