Survs is committed to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which came into effect on May 25, 2018. The regulation represents the most significant changes to European data privacy legislation in the past 20 years. It is designed to give EU citizens greater control over their data and aims to unify existing privacy and security laws under a comprehensive framework.

Our customers can trust that Survs has made GDPR a priority. Here are a few examples of initiatives we have undertaken to comply with GDPR requirements:

  • Committing to follow any additional security and privacy measures required under GDPR.
  • When transferring data outside of the EU, adhering to appropriate data transfer mechanisms as required by GDPR, including Privacy Shield certification.
  • Assisting with security and privacy of data processing, notifying regulators of breaches, and promptly communicating any breaches to users.
  • Ensuring Survs staff who access and process customer personal data are trained in handling that data and are bound to maintain its confidentiality and security.
