Multiple Choice

Multiple Choice is a simple closed-ended question type that lets respondents select one or more answers from a defined list of choices.

Single Answer

The Multiple Choice, Single answer question type lets respondents select only one answer from a defined list of choices.

There is an option to set the layout of the list of choices to one column (default), two columns or three columns. Below is an example of a three-column layout.

Multiple Answers

The Multiple Choice, Multiple answers (checkboxes) question type lets respondents select one or more answers from a defined list of choices.

Menu

The Multiple Choice, List (dropdown menu) question type lets respondents select one answer from a defined list of choices presented in a dropdown menu.

Linear

The Multiple Choice, Linear question type lets respondents select one answer from a list of choices presented in a linear layout.

Options

On Multiple Choice questions you can configure the following options:

• Answer required – To make sure respondents answer a question.
• Randomize choices – To randomize the order of the choices for each respondent.
• Limit the number of choices – To limit the number of choices a respondent can select.
