Open Text

The Open Text question allows you to collect open-ended answers from respondents. You can also validate the question to require answers in a specific format.

Single Line

Add a Open Text, Single Line question to your survey when you want respondents to write in a short text or numerical answer to your question.

Paragraph

Add a Open Text, Paragraph question to your survey when you want to allow respondents to write in a long text answer to your question.

Multiple Textboxes

Add an Open Text, Multiple Text Boxes question to your survey when you want to collect multiple short text or numerical answers.

Options

On Open Text questions you can configure the following options:

• Answer required – To make sure respondents answer a question.
• Validate answer format – To make sure the respondent enters a number, email address or date.
