Stop Collecting

By default, all channels are open to collect responses. There are three ways to close the survey to stop collecting responses.

Method 1: Close all channels at once from the Survey List page.

1. Enter the Survey List page.
2. Click the green Open button next to the survey title to close the survey.
   Note: If the survey is closed you can open it by clicking the Closed button next to the survey title.

Method 2: Close the channels one by one from the Distribute page:

1. Enter the Distribute page.
2. Click the arrow button next to the channel name and select Close channel.
   Note: To re-open a closed channel follow the same steps and select Open channel.

Method 3: Stop collecting responses at a specified date.

1. Enter the Settings page.
2. Activate the Cut off date and time option and set up a date and time to stop collecting responses.

If a respondent tries to access closed survey, they will see a "survey closed" message.
