Add Contacts

Learn how to add contacts to the Email Channel so you can email people your survey.

Add multiple contacts

Copy and paste a list of email addresses, with each email on a separate line. Example:

laura@email.com
kelly@email.com
steve@email.com
jeremy@email.com

Alternatively, you can add email addresses along with first names, last names, and custom data (e.g., department). Make sure the fields are separated by commas, and email addresses are first. Leave empty fields blank. The order should be: Email address, First name, Last name, Notes. Example list with department info:

laura@email.com,Laura,Turner,Marketing
kelly@email.com,Kelly,Roberts,Engineering
steve@email.com,Steve,Williams,Sales
jeremy@email.com,Jeremy,Jones,Engineering

To display contact information in your emails, use tags such as:

[FirstName]
[LastName]
[Notes]

When the recipient receives the email, these tags will be replaced with their information. For more on tags, refer to the Compose Email help page.
