Skip Logic

Surveys

Skip logic rules let you direct respondents to specific pages based on their answers. They can be applied to "Multiple Choice – Single answer", "Multiple Choice – List (dropdown menu)" questions, and entire pages. Skip Logic is only available on paid plans. To use logic rules, your survey must be divided into multiple pages. When a rule is applied to a multiple choice question, it works like this:

If the respondent selects option [A], they will be directed to page [2].

If the respondent selects option [B], they will be directed to page [3].

When a rule is applied to a page, it works like this:

When leaving this page, jump to page [x]

To add a logic rule to a "Multiple Choice – Single answer" question:

  1. Click the arrow button Arrow button next to the question and select Edit Question.
  2. Click Add logic at the bottom of the form.
  3. Select the answer and its destination page.

To add a logic rule to a page:

  1. Click the arrow button Arrow button for the page and select Add Logic Rule.
  2. Choose the destination page.
