Skip Logic

Surveys

Skip logic rules can be used to send respondents to certain pages based on their answers and can be added to "Multiple Choice - Single answer" and "Multiple Choice, List (dropdown menu)" questions, and to pages. Skip Logic is only available on paid plans. To use logic rules, the survey must first be organized in multiple pages. When a rule is applied to a multiple choice question, it works like this:

If the respondent answers option [A] the next page will be [2]

If the respondent answers option [B] the next page will be [3]

When a rule is applied to a page, it works like this:

When leaving this page, jump to page [x]

To add a logic rule to a "Multiple Choice - Single answer" question:

  1. Click the arrow button Arrow button next to the question and select Edit Question.
  2. Click the Add logic rule link at the bottom of the form.
  3. Select the answer and destination page.

To add a logic rule to a page:

  1. Select Add Logic Rule from the page arrow menu.
  2. Select the destination page.
